Clarendon Report Original Public Schools

A list of leading private and independent schools that were originally listed as Public Schools in the Clarendon Report and regarded as the first Public Schools, the Clarendon commission reviewed seven of the leading schools in England and determined that they were public schools. A further two schools were originally included but subsequently exempted from the review.
