Pangbourne College

Founded as the Nautical College in 1917, Pangbourne's original purpose was to train would-be officers for a future in the Merchant Navy with instruction provided in a traditional public school setting. Pangbourne still retains that nautical heritage today with pupils required to wear a naval uniform and a focus on marine sports, particularly rowing where the school has a great history of success.
