Athletic Association of Independent Schools (AAIS)


The Athletic Association of Independent Schools of New York (better known as the AAIS) is a girls varsity athletic conference composed of some of the leading private independent schools, both co-educational and girls only, in New York City. The league covers a number of intermural sports programmes including: Badminton; Basketball; Cross Country; Indoor Athletics; Lacrosse; Soccer; Softball; Squash; Swimming; Tennis; Track and Field; and Volleyball. Many AAIS schools are members or associates of the prestigious New York Interschool consortium.

Spread across a number of sites in the well-to-do Park Slope area of Brooklyn, Berkeley Carroll is a K-12 co-educational institution with a particular reputation for STEM subjects including maths and engineering. The Hewitt School

The Packer Collegiate Institute
